본 공모전은 청년의 시각에서 본 여성·평화·안보 의제를 증진하기 위해 마련되었습니다. 이번 공모전은 제 6차 공모전으로, 에세이와 그림을 통해, 세상의 많은 사람들이 상기 주제에 대한 생각을 증진하고, 건설적인 대화를 장려하고자 합니다.

This contest has been organized to promote the agenda of Women, Peace, and Security from the perspective of youth. Now in its sixth iteration, the contest aims to raise awareness and encourage constructive dialogue on these important topics through essays and artwork.

여러분의 여성·평화·안보에 대한 생각을 글이나, 그림으로 표현해주세요. 이를 통해, 전세계 사람들이 더 나은 미래를 만들 수 있게 됩니다.

We invite you to express your thoughts on women, peace, and security through writing or drawing. By sharing your ideas, you can contribute to building a better future for people around the world.

참고로, 본 공모전은 ‘제6차「여성과 함께하는 평화」국제회의’ 부대행사입니다. 2018.6월 「여성과 함께하는 평화 이니셔티브」출범 이후 국제사회에서 여성‧평화‧ 안보 논의 점검을 위한 정례 플랫폼 마련을 위해 2019년도부터 정례 국제회의 개최해 왔습니다.

This contest is a side event of the 6th International Conference on Action with Women and Peace. Since the launch of the “Action with Women and Peace Initiative” in June 2018, the annual international conference has been held regularly since 2019 to establish a platform for reviewing discussions on Women, Peace, and Security in the international community.
